# Best way to download your convos for your record keeping?

Texting is part of the client record... What is the best way to save or record your texts and communication so you can add this to a client chart?

Spruce is a medical record so many of our clinicians actually keep everything within Spruce. You can use our search feature to find anything at a later time or look up by patient as it’s all documented under the patient.
