# Anyone else found  fake Trustpilot reviews against their website

When I found fake negative reviews against my website on various platforms all but Trustpilot responded quickly (48hrs) it took posting on Linkedin and taking screenshots gathering examples to get Trustpilot to investigate.

After 6 months of "investigation" by Trustpilots head of compliance it revealed a much more serious issue of data protection -  who was hacking  Trustpilot reviewer accounts to leave fake reviews for a competitor ? 

If it was the competitor it is a compliance and data protection issue.

If it is Trustpilot it is a Trust and compliance issue.

Either way I realised I was not the only company website owner being #Trustjacked

I have helped many victims of the #fieldsdatrecoveryscam what was shocking is that Trustpilot will actually go out of their way to prevent victims of scams being able to leave a review.
