When you're recording you have the option to do screenshare only, web cam only, or web and cam. Regardless of the option you select, you can speak while presenting to go along with whichever visual option you select.
All you need is a microphone, including your computer's built in mic.

Good question! It does depend on the software you are using to present. I'd personally opt for the Desktop App in most situations, especially if you are using Powerpoint as you can use the face bubble while presenting and record in HD+.
