How can we get a clearer picture of channel attribution for stores that have migrated customer profiles over?

Our channel attribution report shows 40-60% of revenue from an 'unknown' source, regardless of using first-touch or last-touch attribution in the Glew platform. How can we make changes to our Google Analytics or CRM to accurately show where these new orders are coming from?
