# Is Wave (Financials) a potential or emerging competitor to consider against Quickbooks Online?

At some point in time we have to include a solution for a few customers who would not onboard on Quickbooks Online because of their size and business operation, but still needed accounting software to manage their finances at a basic level, but with some sort of capability that would resemble Quickbooks Online Plus. One of them came up with the Wave app. We test it, we guide them on the accounting side, and they finally became a success case.
Now we have it as a solution to particular customers with certain characteristics. Its main weakness is that it does not have multilanguage translations, but still solves the issue.
Would you say that there is a real competitor to Quickbooks Online Plus for SMBs (besides Xero or Freshbooks).?
What would you say is the best solution to compete against QBO for small customers who need complete accounting but basic features? And that is free.
