You have to upgrade to get more storage space. Check to see if your company has a paid account -- most companies usually have some sort of cloud storage service, even if it's not dropbox.
You can upgrade (for a cost) to Dropbox Business to get 2 TB storage space. You can ask your company to get a Dropbox business plan if it is work-related use needed, they can write that off as a business expense.
For a free method you can invite friends or anybody you know to install dropbox and be rewarded with free space, per each person.
If you are a basic user, please upgrade to Dropbox Plus Or professional to get 2 TB to 3 TB storage space. And if you want to get more space you can ask your business partner and get Dropbox business plan together by sharing equally.
Update your account to PLUS for 2 TB extra, you can also upgrade your same account to business if necessary for 5 TB extra.Of course there is a cost involved.
