# It has a high cost for licenses.

This program has some licenses which are very expensive giving the competition an advantage by offering graphic design services with much lower costs than photoshop, can this program be obtained more economically for its licenses?

I was a very loyal customer for Adobe going back to day one as a beta tester for PhotoShop. Now that I am retired, (and after spending a lot @$50 a month)  I just can't afford it.  So I looked at Affinity Photo.  $ 50.00 to Buy.

Have not looked back.  I do better work with this tool.  Only thing is I have no replacement for Acrobat yet.

It's the cost of doing business, overhead costs should be covered by the charges to your clients. After the overhead is covered, then your profits come to you. However, if you use it for not a business, then there are other alternatives. Even Adobe has other plans

I don't think the photoshop license can be called truly "expensive".
For example, I use the license of Photoshop and Lightroom for 12 € / month.
I don't think this figure can be defined disproportionate, quite the opposite!

“Expensive” is definitely subjective. $12 per month is a nominal fee for you, and that’s wonderful. To someone else, $12 per month is $12 too much.

Unfortunately no. The only way to use current Adobe products now is with a subscription.
