# How did you succeed in remote site installations?

Please let me know how did you manage to install the software for users from another country.

Hi Shanmukh, with Asigra all new installations are performed manually with the backup admin performing the installation and connecting directly to the underlying platform either via   remote access or  on site. Alternately the Service Provider can build OVA templates containing the Asigra software and ship them to their remote customers.  In the scenario of an upgrade to an existing Asigra instance, version upgrades and application of hot-fixes and service packs are of the order.
