It has a high cost for licenses.

This program has some licenses which are very expensive giving the competition an advantage by offering graphic design services with much lower costs than photoshop, can this program be obtained more economically for its licenses?

Well, that I know some in particular, this GIMP has a free version, although in my experience I find more professionalism with Adobe Photoshop

If you want cheaper software, you could use Pixelmator. It’s a one time fee. But, like some people are saying, if you want to make it in the design world. You have to move away from a scarcity mindset. Focus on the value you can bring people, instead of making money with a commodity service. Commodity clients pay less, require more time, and all that means you are working more for less and unable to have enough time to offer quality service. You can be two of the following. Pick your favorites and run accordingly. Good, fast, cheap... ONLY TWO...

If you can't afford a lousy $30 a month for the amazing plethora of software in Adobe's suite, then you're in the wrong business, and should invest in a new box of crayons.

The costs are a little high for the average user. There are discounts offered, however, for students, business group licenses, etc. You may also want to consider using one of the older free versions available for download if you are looking at basic image manipulations.

In the UK the Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom bundled as the "Photography plan" is currently £8.32/month. It's similar to many of the online competitors, but the feature set is not exactly the same. If you need features only provided by Photoshop this is probably the most cost-effective way.
