# How do you set-up shipping?  Are there benefits to tying in with Shipstation? On Shopify I received great shipping rates. Is there a comparable shipping service to capture great rates?

I have my store set up to use real time global rates based on the weight of the items and where they are going. You have the ability to set each items specific shipping criteria. For example, I have a product that is drop shipped and the company doesn't charge shipping. So I have those items set to ship free. I hated Shipstation, it was clunky and didn't work well for me. I connected my shop to Pirate Ship which has been fantastic and significantly cheaper.
