I would prefer Check Point because of database handling. i have seen gateways with 5k+ policies and they working without lag.

It depends on what your needs are. I've worked with both Check Point and Fortinet, and both have a place. In a smaller IT shop (where you may not need some of the advanced NGFW features like sandboxing) Fortinets are good, effective, low-admin cost firewalls. However, if you are in a larger IT shop (Enterprise IT), Check Point and Palo Alto would be more appropriate.

Wenn es um den Perimeterschutz geht, sind Checkpoint und Palo die beste Option mit den anfallenden Kosten. Es ist am besten geeignet für Finanz- oder Unternehmensumgebungen. Ich habe früher mit Checkpoint-Firewalls gearbeitet, daher ist meine persönliche Präferenz Checkpoint, aber es erfordert hoch technisches Wissen, um die Einrichtung zu konfigurieren.
