# Can I back up directly to Azure BLOB storage in V10

I would like to back up entire VMs to azure - I can do this in a roundabout way using another server but I'd prefer to do it direct. The offsite function seems only to support AWS. I have been unable to get the archive backup to azure to work.

You can restore a VM to Azure. You can also send any backup to an Azure blob via the Scale-out Repository. I recommend you put a ticket in with the Veeam Support team: they are super helpful.

I send backups to an Azure Blob via the Scale-Up Repository feature in Veeam (worked in v9 too). If you're uncertain how to do this, lean on the excellent support Veeam provides. They got my system up and running!
