Best Software for 2025 is now live!

What are some other use cases for Vidyard?

Aside from creating quick tutorial videos or explanations, I wonder how others in the B2B space are utilizing Vidyard to improve their marketing and/or sales processes.

We also vidyard's screen capture/recording tool to create internal how-tos and also to show bugs/suggestions to the dev team. It makes video so easy to make that this is the fastest way to do both of those tasks in a lot of cases.

I use videos mainly for quick demos, but I have a "Book a Demo" button right below my Vidyard videos and encourage users to book a live demo with me, where I introduce them to our other products. We also use it within our own team for Quality Assurance and to maintain standardized procedures when a team member has strayed from best practices while working from home during covid-19 quarantine.

We use recordings on a self-guided tour site of our software, so 24-hours a day people can learn about our solution. After someone becomes a customer, they also have access to a documentation site to setup and use our application which has step-by-step guidance as well as step-by-step videos to setup and properly use it. In both cases we are able to capture how many times people watch the videos, which videos are actually useful (if no clicks, then why have it on there) or how long they watch them (is the video too long, or right-sized)
