Loomly is best if you need client approval at every step. It's a easy way to manage a lot of accounts it a visual way. Once they get auto posting for ig it'll be game over.

Planoly is great for Instagram only. The perks here is autoposting works, you can schedule the first comment of the post too so you can add your hashtags, you can schedule stories better. The platform itself is made with Instagram in mind so if your client is all Instagram then this is perfect. You can export a month view of posts to send to client but they cannot comment or approve one at a time like loomly.

Later is also a visual based tool but the downside of Later is you cannot schedule anything without an image. So if I want to schedule a draft as a campaign until I get my creative, it won't let me. I do use this for my personal account but it would be hard for a business.

Hootsuite is the og and it has many features, however it's not the most user friendly platform and def not visually clean. This one works with clients but they tend to get confused unless they used it before.

Buffer is just okay.. I think it misses key features and there is a limit on how many accounts you can have.

For just yourself, there's also UNUM app that is free for the basic package which is perfectly enough for personal accounts.

Then there's Tailwind that is specifically made for Pinterest and really the only tool that will help you grow to millions of monthly viewers. All you have to do is be consistent.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

Hope that helps!

As someone who works with both Loomly and Hootsuite, I prefer Loomly because I find it super user-friendly and easy to align with my content calendar.

I like Loomly although they still require manual publishing of Instagram posts (they send an email that makes it pretty easy but it does require a few minutes). I just don't plan to recommend Loomly to my friends or coworkers. My social media manager likes Buffer, although you are limited to 3 platforms there.

Of course it depends what you are trying to do. Some platforms are better for certain types of social media

If you are not liking the Loomly Solution then Hootsuite is also a good Platform. I have used Hootsuite in the past, but now i prefer the Loomly platform

If you aren't finding what you like at Loomly, I would send an email and ask them. Frankly, they have been the most responsive solution I have used, and we were able to make some changes for my company to use the platform.
