# I was stuck at a point where i wanted to randomise the answer options in pattern 1.2.3 or 3.2.1, how can we do that instead of making 2 seperate questions and punching options in similar order?

Without programming 2 questions, how can we achieve the above outcome?

Hello Nadeem - Just select "Flipped" in answer list display order property and it will give you the desired results i.e. it will display the options as either 1,2,3 or 3,2,1.

Hey all,

I tried this property but and ir does shows the option in flipped manner. Got little doubt though, the list gets flipped for all the responses or for alternates?

It does for all responses but since it's 'Flipped' there will be only two orders - 1,2,3 or 3,2,1. You can add the script to capture the order shown to each respondent.
