# How long before we can publish directly to Instagram?

Of the four social platforms, Instagram is one of the main ones and not being able to schedule posts directly to the profile is sometimes difficult. Especially when the posting time sits outside of business/working hours. Loomly does make it easy however, by being able to copy the caption, save the photo and post through the mobile app. So all in all, it's a decent alternative, however it would be nice to have a 'set and forget' style of working.

As of today, you can publish to Instagram directly from your computer.

We are posting directly to instagram now. There is a workaround laid out in the tutorial laid out below. It takes some finagling to get it to work, but it will do for now. I've heard from staff that they hope to have native scheduling to Insta w/o zapier later this year. Fingers crossed it's soon! 

Also, you can post to both Facebook and Instagram without "spammy" looking hashtags on Fb. You'll use the "fine tune each channel" option when building a post to make each unique. In the generic content posting to all platforms, I don't include hashtags, but then add them in to just the Instagram fine-tuning.

I agree with you! In the meantime, I usually just post on FB/Insta creator studio to automatically push through as an alternative too. Plus I can save social account profiles by doing this!

You are able to post through both Instagram and Facebook at the same time, but I typically don't recommend it as the Facebook post will include all of your hashtags and it looks spammy on Facebook to include that many hashtags.

You can publish directly to Instagram now.  I just find it helpful to schedule posts in advance all in one place.

Only Loomly can answer that,  I'm considering posting my Instagram to Buffer  while they figure it out.I have recently  discovered that i must publish my own videos to Twitter as well.

I was not able to share videos just pics this way.  I publish videos as well.  Also. I apparently do not have an Instagram for business account.  I may just go to Buffer.
