Does SysAid allow for modern authentication on monitored email?

With the changes that Office 365 is implementing, all SMTP, POP3, and IMAP authentications are going away. So we are looking to see if SysAid has oauth 2 implemented on the monitored email (i.e. when a user emails a specific email address, it creates a ticket and notifies our help desk team)?

Our current incoming integration is done via OWA, but as mentioned outgoing is smtp, and the SysAid teams mentioned to me that upgrades will becoming to address these changes. Our instance is on-prem

In SysAid we have automated email integration, which is affected by Microsoft’s announcement that they’re retiring basic authentication for Office 365 email in October 2020. We know they’re heading towards more advanced authentication policies. Currently, SysAid’s email integration functions with basic (legacy) authentication. However, our developers are already working on changes to SysAid’s email authentication, which will support advanced authentication. The rollout will begin in April, way before the October deadline.
