# How can I avoid mixing the old rated pictures with the new ones?

SOmetimes  the database mix up the current rating information with the new one and I cannot select only the new ones.

ACDSee allows different rating methods, you can differenciate the files, by rating, label or category, if you want to differenciate a group by date, I suggest to use rating as usual but later create a label (color) for the rated images for that day or create a category with the date.

And when you want to differenciate from previous rating days you can select the corresponding label or category

Hi! What do you mean with old and new? Do you mean pics that you rated some days ago that you want to filter now? If so, with the new version you can create different baskets and search through those I think, as ratings are kept there until you delete. I think that there's a way to filter also by date, but I didn't use it.
