How do you determine some of the best questions to use?
I ususally download information into a spreadsheet so that I can sort and analyze the information. But, I think that the tool will do more of this for me. How can I find out how to better utilize the tool?
When I start to build a survey, I start by thinking about my end goal. What do I want to be do / share once I've collected the results? That helps determine what type of question I will ask. For instance, if I want to know what % of customers agree with a certain statement, I'll use a likert scale question and total the % of respondents that respond in a certain way. If I am interested in getting feedback and generating new ideas about a topic, I may use an open-ended question.
