How to save multiple files without checking in each file

There are instances wherein i had to save 100's of excel files as a back up for a project and each file had to be checked in for other person to access it. Is there a way all these files kept in a folder could be checked in at a folder level .

Unfortunately you cannot. At least not that I’ve seen. It is a headache uploading one file at a time.

If you have write access, you can go to the top, do file, import documents. I believe the webmaster has to enable that feature though.
