Can you make it easier to export a single page or multiple like in illustrator's artboard export?

I tend to send a lot of progress photos to clients and prefer to export png's vs sending screenshots. If there were an easy way to export faster I would really appreciate it!

when you are exporting from indesign to a pdf. just choose the page number you want to export. Command + e will take you directly to exporting to jpg or pdf.could not be easier. you will find all the parameters within the dialog box of adobe pdf presets.

Depending on the file type you can always save a single or any combination of page ranges when you export as a pdf under the general tab. Actually most file types during the export dialogue ask for a page or range just by separating each page with a comma for individual pages, or a dash for consecutive page numbers. If it's hard to keep track of specific photos (page numbers) when exporting, I would definitely recommend not using InDesign for large numbers of photos. Photoshop and Lightroom is definitely more suited for a higher quantity of files, even Illustrator is not the best when it comes to images.
