Schedule by Work

Hi Sonja - You can schedule by Work in our current flagship platform. Simply select the task(s) you want to schedule using the value in Work, click Advanced in the toolbar, and select "Schedule by Work". We also differentiate between Work and Duration, so you assign tasks to users that are a specified number of hours of work, but you can give them a longer duration to complete that work, e.g. a task that is 4 hours of Work with 2 days Duration to keep that work. This allows you get a more accurate picture of your resource's capacity. We will plan to support Schedule by Work in our upcoming new platform as well. Feel free to reach out with any other questions!
