How do I curve text in Canva?

Once you are positioned in the template or design you are using, depending on the platform you use is a computer or through your mobile you have a panel of text tools, in the case of the mobile version that is the most used, it is just below the template. When selecting a text box you will have three letter logos; a "B" to place the letters in bold, and right next to a "I" curve, JUST IS THERE WHERE SELECTING YOU CAN GIVE THE VISUAL CURVE TO THE DESIGN letter, if it admits it. There is currently no way to curve text in Canva. The style of curving Individual letters is tasking. This is a feature that has been requested a lot and I believe that it may be added soon. You may have to resort to using another tool like Photoshop that enable curved text then Import the Image to Canva.

Unfortunately you can't create a curved text. A good work around is creating an image with another program, saving as a png with a transparent background, and uploading it as a customer image. Or you can take the long route of placing each individual letter in a curved pattern as separt text units.

There isn't an actual feature within Canva to curve text. However, with a bit of time and patience you can achieve the same outcome! It's recommended to insert a circle shape in the background so you can follow that curve. Then, insert a text box for each letter of the word/phrase you want to curve. Adjust the tilt/angle of each letter along the curve of the circle to achieve the curved text you're going for. It will take some time, but it will work! Hopefully Canva will add a curved text feature soon - fingers crossed!

A function that manipulates the text to give it a curve inside canva is not possible, but you can put your creativity into play to achieve it, thanks to the contribution of other users you can find many options on YouTube, in my case, I use the curved text function in other programs, PowerPoint for example and I keep what interests me as an image, that only works when the design is blank but demands a lot of limitation, try one of the existing forms and tell us what you think.

Yes, You can do it (manually each letter) and that is far from user friendly. After that You can manipulate them (in very limited way) as a group. I would suggest Inkscape as free solution.

The previous answer is correct, they do not have that feature but that doesn't mean you can't have curved text. For features Canva doesn't offer I like to go elsewhere. For example you can throw the text in PPT, curve it, export it as an image and add it to your design. You can also put it through a transparent png converter if you want the text without any background.

Sadly you won't be able to curve any text on Canva at this time. A great option is to curve your text in another program (such as Photoshop and export it as a transparent .png) and then upload it into Canva and add it to your design.

I have been looking for a feature on this application that would simultaneously curve a line of text (such as a quote around a globe). I have not been able to successfully do something like that without placing single letters together and rotating EACH letter to make a curvature. You can add your own font (with premium). Or you just need to select a font that is in the cursive style. They have a few.

Hi, I have been using Canva for over a year now and I don't think they have a feature yet that allows you to create curved text. The most you can do is slanted text.
