I have been using this employee recognition program for several years now and if used correctly (so meaningful recognitions, detailed narrative of what is being recognized, contemporaneous and genuine) it boosts the employee morale but it isalso a very useful tool for employee retention. Employees who are recognized publicly for a job well done, tend to be more engaged with the company and less sensitive to advances from competitors. But above all, they are happy and proud to see their eforts being recognized!
