Keeping track of available job listings

I have a few specific companies that I am always interested in seeing what jobs they have available and Visualping helps me keep track of when their website - and, presumably, their listings - changes. I've also used it to keep track of tour announcements for my favorite band and room availablity at some resorts I really enjoy. It saves me time by trawling all these sites for changes so that I can just be alerted when a change is made and no longer have to bother checking in fruitlessly.

A godsend for staying up-to-date when other tools fail

There are a lot of tools out there for staying on top of important updates -- RSS, newsletters, Google Alerts, and so forth. But a lot of the time, they simply aren't available, or take too long to notify, or don't include all updates. Both in my previous experience at large corporations, and in my current role running several websites, Visualping has been essential in keeping track of sudden changes in the competitive landscape -- whether new information updates about companies and their products, new publications by niche experts, and even pricing changes.
