The upside of using Samsara forward and rear facing cameras in our fleet is that the drivers have become much more focused on driving. We rarely have an at fault accident as a result. It has been easy to use and the fact that many other companies are using similar systems mean that as drivers are hired on, they are already familiar with the camera system so it is easier to get buy in from new staff. It monitors driving all day every day, and is used for learning as well as for instruction. It was easy to implement and is continously adding features that show Samsara listens to their customers and tries to improve on an already great product! We have even been able to use Samsara when one of our trucks was stolen to locate it!
