It's a really nice interface and I love how I get essentially a really nice Jupyter notebook with a lot of the packages I need already installed while being able to switch between Python and SQL as needed.

I use a combination of SQL and python cells to flexibly generate deep dives and topline metrics dashboards. The scheduling capabilities and SQL writebacks mean that it can even be used as an all-in one analysis pipeline runner. If you have used Jupyter notebooks for analysis or even front-ends, you will find all of those capabilities and much more in Hex. The templating & input capability makes both statically defined and dynamically defined user input or configuration simple to implement. Finally, built in visualizations make it very fast to get started with dashboarding.
