Blender is free and open-source! This software has a reputation and has been around for along while. There is a multitude of documentation available online. The models and things that people have created are amazing.

The Blender Foundation is an independent public benefit organization. Its spin-off corporation Blender Institute hosts the foundation’s offices and currently employs 50 people who work on the Blender software and creative projects to validate and test Blender in production environments.
