I like that there are multiple ways to code for the same output, as well as how the output is displayed initially. Trial and error typically resolves any issues. Sometimes it's difficult to find the exact syntax to solve an advanced program and the SAS documentation does not go far enough with examples. I mostly turn to user conference papers and presentations to help solve thorny scenarios. The other primary issue I face when searching for solutions is that it's difficult to search for a a particular version. Sometimes I find an answer (found by searching the SAS documentation on their website) and then realize the solution provided only applies to a particular version and not the version of SAS I'm currently using. But it's not immediately evident how to limit searches to the version I want. If there's a way to do that, it's not obvious to me and so I haven't employed it in my searches.
