Runway is a powerful FP&A tool that integrates with other many applications, which reduces manual admin work to update. The options are limitless on the dimensions that you can create and link within your various models. Runway provide a lot of resources to learn how to use the software and their customer support team is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in getting your models set up and working properly. You can create charts to summarize data and easily share with other people with a click of a button. They also release regular product updates that improve the application and add new features. This is my first time using an FP&A tool so there was a steep learning curve getting familiar with the terminology (drivers vs dimensions), and how to properly build out models. We use an accounting system that is specific to our industry and does not have APIs so our process ended up being a little more manual that I had hoped but we were able to find workarounds to reduce the manual work as much as possible.
