The insurance company expects us to use this program for post acute care authorizations and gave little notice to when it would take affect and gave 1 day notice that they were holding an in service on how to use it 4 days before it was going to take full effect. During the in service, no one was able to answer questions on how it was going to affect hospitals and other health care providers.
