GeoHECRAS does a phenomenally good job at incorporating aspects of Civil3D and ArcMap into an extremely easy-to-use interface. Honestly, the only downside I have run into after years of using the software is the delay that you run into when a new version of RAS is released. It often takes them several months to catch up to new releases, but I understand that takes time on their end to get the coding right. There are so many useful features and tools in GeoHECRAS. Being able to insert and export CAD drawings is very nice. The only item so far that I have found that I dislike is that when you export the GeoHECRAS file to HEC-RAS it does not export a run file.
