We were a customer of theirs. They changed their internal system and removed our credit card details. We received a request to enter our credit card details in their new system but it would not accept it. We attempted to contacted them but go not reply. The service was cut off and we thought fine end of the matter.
Then a few months later we get a contact through our website (eKomi had the directors contact details and email address from the set up process but we never received any emails from them about an issue) threatening with legal action and demanding we pay all the bills including after they cut off the service.
We replied to ask what the issue was and they advise that no one had replied that had sent us numerous emails - we checked every address and no one had received any emails from them. We provided proof of this to eKomi and they simply didn't care. They sent internal screenshot of some messaging system they used but they didn't come to us. That is a major red flag.....
I want to remind any readers of this that eKomi software is designed to send emails to your customer for feedback. if they can even contact their own customers about an issue - what good is their software to you?? Seriously utterly incompetent.
We had a signed a year contract which was already finished when the issue with credit card happened - just for clarity the issue was on their side with their new system - nothing to do with our credit card. We had screenshots from the issue when we attempted to contact them.
Again eKomi didn't care - they claim the contract renews for 12 month each time automatically without any notification or consent from the user.... seriously talk about draconian.... Is that even legal?
They threatened us with legal action to pay the full 2nd year including the months after the service had been stopped. The finance person couldn't care less - she only cared about getting money out of us. The fact their software failed miserably and the issue was entirely on their side and they didn't respond to our request for help meant nothing to her.

Das Problem mit der Verwaltung eigener Bewertungen (also ohne Verwendung von Bewertungssoftware) ist, dass die Leute unweigerlich verwirrt sind, ob sie ein Google-Konto haben oder nicht. Das eKomi-System umgeht dieses Problem nicht. Es überträgt die Verantwortung auf den Bewerter, zu wissen und zu entscheiden, auf welcher Plattform er bewerten wird. Dies führt dazu, dass viele aus dem Bewertungsprozess aussteigen.
Die für Websites bereitgestellten Widgets sind so weit unter dem Standard, dass es nicht lustig ist. Es ist schwer zu glauben, dass sie so umständlich und unflexibel sind. Es ist, als würde man zu HTML1 zurückkehren. Als WordPress-Entwickler hatte ich erwartet, mit diesen Widgets etwas Spaß zu haben. Ich hatte auch erwartet, dass eKomi mein Leben erleichtert, indem es mir flexible und effektive Widgets zur Verfügung stellt. Ich war sehr enttäuscht.
Mein größter Kritikpunkt ist jetzt der Prozess der Kündigung meines Kontos. Anders als bei so ziemlich jedem anderen Konto auf der Welt kann man nicht von innerhalb seines Kontos kündigen. Man muss eKomi eine Kündigungsanfrage per E-Mail senden. Ich habe dies vor einigen Monaten getan und keine Antwort erhalten. Eine Gebühr von mehreren hundert Dollar wurde dann abgebucht. Ich habe ihnen erneut eine E-Mail geschickt und sie diesmal darauf hingewiesen, dass ich meine Bank kontaktieren müsste, um die Gebühr rückgängig zu machen, wenn ich keine sofortige Antwort erhalte. Die Antwort von Mathew sagte, dass er meine Anfrage "an die Buchhaltung weiterleiten würde, um sie zu bearbeiten." Es wurde nicht bearbeitet. Seit meiner ersten Kündigungsanfrage wurden nun drei Zahlungen abgebucht. Es ist sehr beunruhigend und entweder schlampig oder unethisch. We used their services for two years, and then decided to change to a better more responsive service. The lack of support we attributed to the company being based overseas, however not only days would go by, but months, without a response. We emailed to cancel, and received the same stock auto reply from customer service. When I finally got though to billing and asked why they kept charging our card, they pretended like they had not received my emails to cancel. They asked me to prove the cancellation; stating that the contract auto renews every year, even though we had cancelled prior to the renewal date, and removed their software months beforehand. To this day they continue to charge our credit card, and have even gone so far as to write threatening emails to us.
