I like the fact that Densify gathers CloudWatch metrics and then uses their engine to analyze CPU/Memory usage and ensures that we are using the appropriate instance type based on those needs. Densify has also worked with me for customization of our account to allow for some business specific needs. The product is excellent at providing complete and detailed recommendations to rightsize various cloud instances. However, my experience with their account team has been the most beneficial as we have needed some specialized reports, and they immediately sprinted to getting them in their roadmap. The downside of Densify is the loading of their UI. It tends to be unresponsive or has a long latency. We have mainly switched our use to focus on the API and creating our UI endpoint for customers. Much of the data generated is presented in the GUI and not really available outside the GUI. It is also not easy to look at views of data at specific points in time because Densify is focused on what the current position is and how that will trend in the future. Wir haben keine anderen Tools gefunden, die uns das Maß an Granularität in der Berichterstattung bieten können, das mehrere vCenters, mehrere AWS-Konten und mehrere Azure-Abonnements an einem Ort aggregieren kann. Auch die Möglichkeit, Filter und Ansichten basierend auf beliebigen Attributen (Betriebssystem, Nutzung, benutzerdefinierte Tags, Cluster, Eigentümer usw.) zu unterteilen und zu filtern, macht dies zu einer bevorzugten Wahl für Fragen zu Inventar, Nutzung oder Kosten.
