Ich mag die neue moderne Benutzeroberfläche, in der man auf die gesamte 2D-, 3D- und Datenverwaltungsfunktionalität von einer einzigen Anwendung aus zugreifen kann und nicht zwischen den separaten Anwendungen (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcScene) wechseln muss. ArcGIS Pro verfügt über eine Vielzahl von Funktionen, die mit reinem Python unglaublich schwierig zu realisieren wären oder die in kostenlosen Open-Source-Alternativen wie QGIS nicht verfügbar sind. Es integriert sich auch mit ArcGIS Online, das ich als die hilfreichste Plattform zum Teilen von Karten mit nicht-technischen Kollegen empfinde, sowie mit mehreren Esri-Feld-Apps. ArcGIS Pro stürzt die ganze Zeit ab. Es ist eines der fehlerhaftesten Softwarestücke, die ich benutze, weil es noch eingeführt wird. Es scheint auch, dass jedes Mal, wenn ich den Esri-Kundensupport anrufe, sie nicht wirklich wissen, was zu tun ist oder wie das Problem zu lösen ist. Die ArcGIS-Suite erweitert sich meiner Meinung nach schneller, als sie sich selbst korrigieren kann; das kann ich für die gesamte Suite sagen, aber besonders für ArcGIS Pro. -I like the speed, first and foremost. Our agency had to upgrade our computers to run ArcGIS Pro, but the days of waiting forever for a map to reload after adding data or changing the extent of the map are over!

-Geoprocessing is far improved in terms of speed and stability as well.

This interface looks similar to AutoCAD Map 3D which I used in past and still using as I need. Ribbons pretty similar to AutoCAD by functionality, too. Since I started to use AutoCAD back in 2004 - I noticed that the interface of both software -ArcMap and AutoCAD every year are "borrowing" functionality from each other. Finally they are close to identical. :)

Slow. If I could work faster on ArcMap 10.6.1 version, now if I am trying work slowly, because software down and I have to restart application.

Also, Aerials do not work stable and often I need to fix connection with the server. Using FInd Point by Lat and long still can not find function to "flag" and keep X and Y on the map. It was perfect on ArcMap. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

Die seltsamen Schluckaufs, bei denen Werkzeuge seltsam agieren und man sie schließen und erneut öffnen muss, damit das Werkzeug funktioniert. Ein besonderes Beispiel ist das neue Layout. Hin und wieder, wenn man ein neues Layout auswählt und die Seitengröße festlegt, wird das Layout keine Größe anzeigen oder nicht korrekt funktionieren.
