AI Generated Summary
AI-generated. Powered by real user reviews.
  • Users report that ZBrush excels in sculpting capabilities, with a score of 9.6, making it a preferred choice for artists focused on detailed character modeling. In contrast, Substance Designer's sculpting score of 6.4 indicates it may not be as robust for this specific task.
  • Reviewers mention that ZBrush offers a wider variety of brushes, scoring 9.2, which allows for more creative freedom in sculpting. Conversely, Substance Designer, with a brush variety score of 7.6, may limit users looking for diverse texturing options.
  • G2 users highlight ZBrush's superior dynamic tessellation feature, scoring 9.4, which allows for real-time adjustments to mesh density. This is particularly beneficial for high-detail projects, while Substance Designer lacks a comparable feature, scoring lower in this area.
  • Users on G2 appreciate Substance Designer's strong performance in texture creation, with a score of 9.0, making it ideal for users focused on material design. ZBrush, while capable, scores lower in this aspect, indicating it may not be the best choice for texture-centric workflows.
  • Reviewers mention that ZBrush's import and export functionalities score 8.3 and 8.5 respectively, which are crucial for integrating with other software. Substance Designer's integration score of 9.0 is impressive, but its overall import/export capabilities may not match ZBrush's efficiency.
