Optibus is modern and on the cloud. This really changed how we schedule and plan because it's not just about a nicer looking user interface - the modernity means quick optimization runs that take a fraction of what they used to (minutes instead of days)....
There's so much to like. The ability to create and change routes with a few clicks, compare the outcomes of multiple factors in different scenarios, and the transit shed (isochrone) features are all great.
I wish It was easier to draw bus routes along the actual path they travel, as opposed to what the map thinks is the most direct route between two points. This happens in parking lots especially.
