Laravel is Free, opensource framework that is written in php.. it offer easy php extension installation.. More over it is easy for someone who has worked with MVC architecture, as it also follows MVC architecture.

Sometimes it looks like you are building your own Symfony) It will be better if Silex has the opportunity to connect Doctrine without troubles and something else like this. Controllers. You need to realize them by yourself so it takes time.
