Android iterates so fast, and there is always a better update shortly down the road. And it is very friendly to the user. The Google search integration, and Google product integration, into phones with the OS, is easily the best part.
It's slow sometimes: opening apps, changing pages on the home screen, editing settings, etc.
I like the easy to use interface and the single button in order to go back or close application. You always knwo how to get back to where you started!
iOS is extremely proprietary, and very selective about who they "let in" as far as apps, enhancements, add-ons, etc... They control the iOS aftermarket and iOS itself with an iron fist, and there is nothing for advanced users to do about it that does not...
