[What is the top-rated transcription service for enterprises?](/discussions/what-is-the-top-rated-transcription-service-for-enterprises)

Enterprise teams have very different needs from small businesses when it comes to transcription. With so many platforms available, I’m curious: what’s considered the top-rated transcription service for enterprises right now?

Here are a few [transcription platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/transcription) I’ve been looking at:

- [Rev](https://www.g2.com/products/rev/reviews): Offers both AI and human-powered transcription for high accuracy. Is it enterprise-ready in terms of compliance and turnaround time at scale?
- [Google Cloud Speech-to-Text](https://www.g2.com/products/google-cloud-speech-to-text/reviews): A robust API with enterprise-grade customization. Do large organizations find it flexible enough to meet different industry needs?
- [Descript](https://www.g2.com/products/descript/reviews): Goes beyond transcription with editing, publishing, and collaboration tools. Do enterprises see this as a productivity boost or unnecessary complexity?
- [Riverside](https://www.g2.com/products/riverside/reviews): Provides high-quality recording with live transcription features. Does it scale well for enterprise-wide virtual meetings and events?
- [Fireflies.ai](https://www.g2.com/products/fireflies-ai/reviews): Automates transcription and meeting insights across Zoom, Meet, and Teams. Is it powerful enough to manage the volume of enterprise-level meetings?

For those managing transcription at scale:

- Which platform has proven most reliable for enterprise-wide adoption?
- Do these tools integrate well with collaboration stacks like Teams, Slack, or Salesforce?
- Any strengths around compliance, security, or privacy that stood out?

Thanks for sharing!

We evaluated them based on how useful the transcripts were after the meeting, not just during it. At enterprise scale, search mattered a lot because teams needed to be able to find the right conversation again later. If that part is weak, even a good transcript becomes less useful pretty fast.

Do any of these tools support custom vocabulary and industry terms? In my experience, generic transcription often struggles with domain-specific language.

Interesting list! We have tried both Rev and Google Speech-to-Text. Rev definitely stands out for accuracy, especially with human transcription, but it got harder to scale because of cost and turnaround time. Google’s option is way more flexible, but it does take some technical effort to actually plug it into your workflows.

I’ve also heard larger teams use [Fathom](https://www.g2.com/products/fathom-video/reviews) for meeting summaries and highlights. I'm curious if anyone has used that.

At enterprise scale, reliability matters more than features. Fireflies works well for volume, but governance and accuracy were bigger concerns for me.

Question on: Wordly AI-Powered Interpretation
[What is Wordly AI-Powered Interpretation used for?](/discussions/what-is-wordly-ai-powered-interpretation-used-for)

What is Wordly AI-Powered Interpretation used for?

Its used for large audiences to scan a QR code and listen to the speakers in their native language. It is great for conferences and there is no need to pay multiple interpreters on location. Attendees can even save the notes, or read the conversation versus listening only.
