Procaptcha: “I use Procaptcha with React. Procaptcha has been very easy to implement as they maintain a wrapper component that can be easily pulled from NPM. They have incredible customer service and are happy to answer any questions I have or help their community with their product. The component itself is flexible, allows styling with inline CSS, and even allows for theming. The puzzle is also not too difficult to solve and is a great middle ground as far as Captchas go. I originally came from using Cloudflare Turnstile and hCaptcha and have enjoyed my experience with Procaptcha significantly more.”

Cloudflare Application Security and Performance: “Customer support and billing. Their support does not read what you have to say but rather comes in with their own interpretation of what has happened and forces their views on your issue rather than trying to understand exactly what is happening. On two occasions in the last few months I have had this happen when I encountered an issue with the core product and their billing. The billing should be detailed further as it is sketchy business practices. Back in April they changed their billing software and charged me incorrectly for a month as it included the previous month as well (which I already paid). I brought this to their attention and the billing support assured me that it was not a problem. Come last week, they limited my account as I "had unpaid billing" so I contacted them again and brought attention to this wrong invoice that they never corrected. Come yesterday, they just charged my credit card on file without my authorization or explanation of what is going on. I've replied to the open ticket and created a new ticket and no one is answering. I don't want to be a drama case but this is ridiculous to have been charged something from months ago and not be given an explanation.”

ClickCease: “- Hefty cost - Ad platforms will deny refunds based on ClickCease claims, stating these are useless as already taken into account by their anti-fraud algorithms - Bing Ads does not support IP blocking via API, you will have to manually copy/paste ClickCease recommendation every day - Google Ads only accept 500 IP / IP Ranges to be blocked, making ClickCease partially useless - Google Ads mentioned to us ClickCease is also sometimes blocking legit IP addresses, such as "Shared" IPs used by mobile providers on cell towers, leading to the loss of real customers”

ClickCease: “For more than 2 weeks we have encountered heavy attacks from one of our competitors and with the help of clickcease we haven't only managed to stop it but also with the help of their reports we managed to build a case for our local authorities to identify the attacker in order to prove his fraudulent actions, which are quite serious and illegal! Oh, and we also got some refunds from google using their system too, refunds which we normally wouldn't have gotten by simply trusting google algo to identify fraudulent clicks.”
