"Organized Communication and Seamless HubSpot Integration"
What do you like best about Slack?

The organizational aspects allow for clear and concise communications. I can separate all of my ongoing conversations and know exactly where our company wide chats should be happening to keep everything clean and manageable. As a HubSpot Partner, I also really appreciate the shortcuts and features the HubSpot integrations offer. It makes the barrier to entry for non HubSpot users way lower, as they can just run Slack shortcuts to easily find the HubSpot information they need, without having to navigate another platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I don't think there's much that I dislike, but I would say that I think group chat's should have a higher threshold than 8 people. I say this because sometimes groupchats are larger than 8, but I don't want to create an entire personal channel for a temporary group chat. I also am not a huge fan of the interface design, it feels very corporate and I think could be more fun, beyond picking your preferred color. Overall, nothing major I would change. "Effortless Team Communication and Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Slack?

Honestly, it’s how easy it makes team communication. Channels keep everything organized so I’m not drowning in random emails anymore. I also love the integrations- we’ve connected it with Google Drive and HubSpot, and it saves a ton of time. Plus, the search is pretty solid, I can usually find old messages or files without too much hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Honestly, the notifications can get overwhelming. If you’re in too many channels, it’s easy to miss stuff or just mute everything, which kinda defeats the purpose. Threads are helpful but they get messy when people don’t use them right.

Also, sometimes Slack feels a bit heavy on older laptops — like it slows things down. And the search is good, but not perfect. If you don’t remember the exact keyword, finding old messages can be a pain.

But these points are not dealbreakers. Customer support is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organized Collaboration and Effortless Communication for Teams"
What do you like best about Slack?

Channels keep work organized by project and topic, so decisions and files live where the team expects them. Threads reduce noise while still keeping context close. Search is quick and usually finds the message or file I need. Huddles make ad hoc voice or screen share painless for quick unblocking. Workflow automations handle routine tasks like triaging requests and posting alerts from Jira and GitHub. Slack Connect is great for working with clients without juggling email chains. The mobile app is reliable, so I can catch up or respond when I am away from my desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

It is easy for conversations to fragment across DMs, channels, and threads, which can hide decisions. Notifications can get overwhelming on busy workspaces unless you tune them carefully. File management feels messy over time, with duplicates and old versions scattered across channels. Search can surface lots of near hits, so finding a single answer sometimes takes extra filters. Huddles and Clips are solid but not a full replacement for a proper meeting tool when you need recordings, breakout rooms, or polished slides. Pricing per seat adds up for large guest heavy projects, and admin settings can be deep for new workspace owners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boost Productivity, Although It May Get Disorganized"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really like how I can organize workspaces or channels in Slack, allowing me to identify exactly what I want to control and gather all the respective information there. Slack has proven to be a valuable tool for increasing productivity in information management in my company. Additionally, I am motivated by the fact that it offers better integration with projects compared to Discord, which was the product we migrated from. This demonstrates its ability to better adapt to our needs at the project management level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Sometimes, Slack becomes a bit confusing or disastrous when it comes to managing large work groups with many employees. It's difficult to find something specific among so many messages. Additionally, although the basic setup is easy, it gets a bit complicated when trying to add multiple integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized Team Collaboration with Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack has truly revolutionized the way our team collaborates, particularly in our hybrid creative environment. Its real-time messaging, customizable channels, and threaded conversations enable us to stay organized and efficient across multiple projects, sparing us from getting lost in endless email threads. I really appreciate being able to tag teammates, start topic-specific threads, and set reminders, all within a sleek and user-friendly interface. The search function is also outstanding, making it easy to quickly find previous conversations or shared files.

What really sets Slack apart, though, are its integrations. Tools like Figma, Google Drive, Monday.com, Dropbox, and Adobe Creative Cloud are seamlessly woven into our daily routines, making asset reviews, approvals, and updates incredibly fast and synchronized. Additionally, features such as Slack Huddles and Canvas add both spontaneity and structure to our remote communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

While Slack is powerful, it can feel overwhelming if not managed properly. Notifications can pile up quickly, and without strong channel discipline, conversations might get fragmented. It also lacks a more robust native task manager, which means you often rely on integrations to keep things structured. Occasionally, file storage limits and pricing tiers can get tricky when scaling teams or dealing with asset-heavy collaborations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Team Communication and Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Slack?

What I like most about Slack is how smoothly it makes team communication work. Channels keep conversations organised, and the search function is genuinely helpful when I need to find older messages or files.

Notifications are well-timed and make sure I don’t miss anything important.

I also love the integration tools like Google Drive, Jira, and Zoom that connect effortlessly, which makes our daily workflow much faster and easier since everything stays in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Sometimes Slack can feel a bit overwhelming, especially when there are too many active channels. Messages move quickly, so it’s easy to miss important details if you’re not constantly checking.

The desktop app also uses quite a lot of memory, which can slow down the system.

And while the platform is great, some of the more useful advanced features are locked behind paid plans, which isn’t ideal for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Team Communication, Anywhere"
What do you like best about Slack?

Very easy to use and stay connected with my team, even when working remote. I love that there is a mobile app to use on the go.

The messages have options to mark them as unread, or to set a reminder for a later time so that Slack can remind you to address a message.

I also love that we can send gifs and set statuses. Statuses can link up to google calendar so it'll show you're in a meeting and unavailable when you have an event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The huddle feature sometimes is lagging. There's been times I have to answer on my mobile phone because no matter how many times I select to "Join" on my desktop, it doesn't let me into the huddle. It happens on and off, not too often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack: The Ultimate Hub for Seamless Team Collaboration and Integration"
What do you like best about Slack?

I'd like to acknowledge the crucial role that Slack plays in our daily staff operations. Slack is the undisputed champion of real-time team communication and has transformed how our internal teams execute work.

For high-velocity, day-to-day collaboration, Slack provides the instantaneity and responsiveness needed at an organization like ours. Its channel-based organization keeps communication segmented by topic and team, replacing internal email entirely for quick queries, status updates, and rapid problem-solving.

A major advantage for our staff is Slack’s robust integration ecosystem. Our favorite automations include:

GitHub: Instantly notifies engineering channels about new pull requests, code merges, and issue updates, keeping development cycles moving without context switching.

CultureAmp: Connects our employee experience platform directly to our People channels, allowing us to deliver pulse check surveys and share anonymized feedback summaries seamlessly.

Donut: Crucial for building remote culture, Donut pairs up random team members for coffee chats, fostering cross-functional relationships and breaking down silos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The primary drawback of using Slack, which is widely cited and contrasts directly with its strength of "instantaneity," is notification overload and distraction, which can severely hurt employee productivity and focus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Teamwork and Lightning-Fast Communication"
What do you like best about Slack?

The best thing about slack is how smooth and fast communication becomes, instead of long email chains, everything is organised in channels, so you instantly know what's happening. I also love how easy file sharing, tagging teammates, and searching old messages is. Plus, the integration ( like Google drive, notion etc.) save alot of time. Overall, it makes teamwork feel quick, clean, and effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Slack is great but sometimes it gets a little overwhelming. If you're part of many channels, messages pile up quickly and it's easy to miss something important. Also, notifications can get distracting unless you fine-tune them. Apart from that, the mobile app sometimes feels slightly heavy when switching between channels. "Effortless Team Collaboration and Organization with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

“What I like best about Slack is how effortlessly it keeps communication organized and accessible. Channels make it easy to separate topics and teams, and the search tools help me quickly find past conversations, files, or decisions. Integrations with other apps—like project management tools, calendars, and file storage—streamline workflows and reduce the need to switch between platforms. The interface is clean, intuitive, and great for both quick messages and deeper collaboration. Overall, Slack helps our team stay aligned, responsive, and productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

What I dislike about Slack is that conversations can sometimes move too quickly, making it easy to miss important messages if you’re not constantly checking in. With multiple channels and threads, it can feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially during busy days. Notifications can also be hard to manage, and it takes some effort to keep everything organized. While these aren’t major issues, simplifying notification controls and improving message visibility would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
