The carrier management team's support ensures that change requests are progressed satisfactorily and that the MetaPack platform is kept up to date for customers to have the features they need to ship efficiently. MetaPack's insistence on remaining with a core EDI platform which is outdated and requires extensive and costly support for both MetaPack and DHL. Technology and customer needs have moved on, and API is now widely adopted in the industry for speed of onboarding, extensive feature support, lower costs to run and simple support. What problems is Metapack solving and how is that benefiting you? MetaPack is working on many change requests to update the platforms for customer requirements. These changes are crucial for customers to utilise the DHL network to their advantage. However, this could be significantly improved if API technology was at the applications' core, not EDI. Metapack has an excellent performance of the integrated services. Availability of the system, response time for label calls and reaction time on support tickets is outstanding. The integration of new services and new carriers is a painful process. Getting a financial proposal and finally starting the integration project takes months.
